I'm putting together my first gaming PC and I want to make sure all my parts will work together. I'm considering a B650M Gaming WiFi motherboard and I've picked out a Ryzen 5 9600X processor. I've read that the 9600X is compatible with B650 and B650E motherboards, but I'm uncertain if the B650M fits into that compatibility. Can someone clarify this for me?

The B650M board is a Micro-ATX variant of the B650 motherboard. Since both share the same socket and chipset, your Ryzen 5 9600X will work perfectly with the B650M. You're all set!
Yes, the B650M is simply a smaller form factor, but it uses the same chipset as the B650. So, your Ryzen 5 9600X should be fully compatible! Just check the motherboard's CPU compatibility chart if you need further assurance.
Great advice! I'll look at that chart for peace of mind.
They all use the same chipset, so you shouldn’t have any compatibility issues. If you have doubts, checking the motherboard's webpage will usually show a compatibility list which is helpful!
I appreciate it! I'll definitely check that out.

Thanks for the clarification! That's a load off my mind.
