You might want to try a few different distros to see which one you vibe with. I've heard good things about Bazzite, and personally, I use Fedora KDE for gaming. It's solid and offers a great experience!
With around a thousand Linux distributions available, recommendations are pretty subjective. I suggest you check out a tool like Ventoy which lets you experiment with a bunch of them.
