Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first PC and I'm kinda stuck on which GPU to pick. I've got my eye on a used RTX 4060 or RTX 3070, but I'm also considering a new Arc B580. I want to use this PC for game development, gaming, and SteamVR. Buying the used GPU from CeX in the UK. Here are my specs: Ryzen 5 5500 and 16GB DDR4. What do you think I should go for? Thanks a lot!

Honestly, the RTX 3070 is the better choice here. It outshines the B580 in pure rasterization, and VRAM isn't a deal-breaker given its performance. You might also want to consider the 9060 XT 8GB; it's newer with slight improvements and lower power consumption.

I'd go for the Arc B580! VRAM can really make a difference in performance for what you’re doing.

Definitely the B580. You should avoid supporting NVIDIA with their recent market strategies. Plus, the price on the B580 makes it a solid deal right now!

But if you buy used, what NVIDIA does shouldn't impact you, right?
