Best Ways to Transfer Photos from Android to PC Without a Cable

I'm trying to figure out how to transfer thousands of photos from my Samsung S21 to my PC since my USB port is broken. In the past, I used a cable and Windows Explorer to do this, which was pretty slow. I'm considering options like getting a Bluetooth dongle for transferring via Bluetooth, but I'm not sure if that's practical. Alternatively, uploading everything to Google Drive feels like it would take forever. Any tips on how I can efficiently back up my photos?

Creating a zip file of your images and then sending it through WhatsApp or Telegram is a clever workaround! Once zipped, just download it from your PC—super convenient!

You might want to try using Resilio Sync. Just install it on both your phone and computer, set up a folder on your PC for your photos, and it'll sync everything over WiFi. It’s much faster than Bluetooth, and you don't have to worry about size limits like with cloud services.

You should definitely consider using Google Photos if you have a Google account. It offers 15 GB of free storage, so you can back up all your pictures without worrying about space. Once everything's uploaded, you can use the Google Takeout feature to download them as a zip file to your PC. Just remember to delete the originals from the cloud afterwards if you want to save space on the account.

Totally agree with this! Just make sure to upload everything first, and once you do, it's super easy to get them all back on your PC.

If you're looking for something straightforward, the app 'File Manager +' is really handy. It transfers photos quickly, about 4-5 MB per second depending on your WiFi. Just select the pictures and move them to your computer—it’s super user-friendly for daily backups.

Bluetooth is an option, but it's pretty slow compared to other methods. Definitely consider using something like Google Drive or a dedicated app like inShare—both can make transferring your photos smoother. Just be prepared for it to take some time if you're transferring a lot.
