Is the ROG STRIX 1000W Platinum PSU Worth It for My Build?

I'm thinking about replacing my current power supply unit (PSU) because it's been causing issues. Currently, I have a system with an RTX 2060, a Ryzen 5 3600, and a B450 motherboard. I'm aiming for a high-quality, S-tier PSU to not only resolve my current problems but also to ensure it's future-proof for a new build with an RTX 5000-series GPU. What are your thoughts on the ROG STRIX 1000W Platinum PSU for this purpose? Would you suggest a better option? Any advice would be really helpful!

You probably don’t need more than an 850W PSU for your current setup since it's high quality. But if opting for the 1000W makes you feel more secure, it's a solid choice too!

Yeah, the quality of the PSU is what I’m unsure about. How can I tell if a PSU is high-end?

The ROG STRIX 1000W Platinum is a good unit. Just keep an eye on the pricing relative to other options, especially where you live. It’s definitely reliable for future upgrades!

Honestly, it's an okay choice, but it also depends on the prices in your region. If it's priced well, go for it!
