Getting ‘DisplayPort No Signal’ on My New ASUS Monitor

I just built my first ever PC, but after installing a BIOS update for my ASUS motherboard, I'm facing an issue with my new ASUS ProArt monitor. Initially, I managed to switch from USB-C to DisplayPort to fix a similar problem yesterday, but that trick isn't working now. My monitor remains unresponsive, and I can't get past the BIOS settings screen. Every time I try to exit, I just loop back to the BIOS. Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

It's worth trying to plug the DisplayPort cable into your graphics card instead of the IO shield. That might help the monitor recognize the signal correctly. Just make sure the GPU is properly seated in the motherboard and connected!

Have you tried connecting your monitor directly to the motherboard's video output? Sometimes, after a BIOS update, the settings can revert to using the onboard graphics instead of the dedicated GPU. Make sure to check and save the settings in BIOS too!
