I'm paying for a 300mb/s internet connection, and while my phone gets about 240mb/s even from the far side of the house, my PC is only hitting 2mb/s. I'm trying to install Dark Souls 1, which should take about 10 minutes, but it's stretching into four hours. I've plugged my PC directly into the Ethernet, but the speed is not where it should be. Any advice would be appreciated! P.S. I later realized I had my VPN on by mistake. Thanks for the help!

It could be a bad Ethernet cable or port. Sometimes, issues with drivers or your router can also cause slow speeds. Have you checked them?
I usually get good speeds on my PC too, so it’s weird that it’s slow just today.
