I'm not very experienced with PC tech, but I attempted to upgrade my CPU from a Ryzen 5 3600X to a Ryzen 5 5700X. However, now my PC is just stuck in the BIOS and won't boot into Windows. I'm at a loss about what I might have done wrong. Can anyone offer some advice?

The simplest fix is to reinstall your old CPU, update the BIOS, and then try putting the new CPU back in. By the way, which motherboard are you using?
I did update the BIOS before the upgrade. My motherboard model is MS-7C95.
Did you remember to update the BIOS for your motherboard before swapping in the new CPU? If you didn’t, you might want to pop the old CPU back in, do the update, and then try again. If updating isn't possible, see if your motherboard has a BIOS flashback feature you can use. Also, clearing the CMOS settings might help. If you need guidance on that, let me know!
