I was checking the configuration interface of my modem/router today when I clicked on the NTP tab, and Avast Web Shield flagged a message. After doing some research, I found out it might be linked to a RouterCSRF-D attack and I'm worried that my router could be compromised. I'm here to find out if anyone can help me figure out what's going on, especially since this only happens when I'm in the modem/router settings.

Yeah, I’d say Avast is the real issue here. Just uninstall it, man. For basic protection, Windows Defender and a solid ad blocker should be all you really need.
Honestly, you can’t really trust Avast on this; it might just be reacting to your own access to the router. I’d suggest removing it from your system altogether. It might be more trouble than it's worth.
This looks like a false positive. It may just mean your router isn’t equipped with certain security features against CSRF attacks, but that doesn’t mean your router is compromised. You should be fine!
Any idea why Avast flags this? Should I be taking any further steps to confirm my router's safety?
