I'm having trouble with my Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 3 (model 27IMB05). After I recently replaced the original RAM with a new 16GB kit (2 x 8GB, DDR4 2666MHz), the computer beeps three times followed by one continuous beep when I try to power it on. This is my first attempt at installing RAM, so I'm uncertain if I seated it correctly or if there's a compatibility issue. I'm cautious about pushing it down further, worrying that I might damage something. Is there a way to troubleshoot this problem further, or could there be another reason for the beeping?

You should try resetting the RAM to see if that helps. If you've already done that and it's still beeping, it might be toast. Also, some users have good luck when they only use one RAM stick at a time to see if that resolves the issue.

Toast as in I probably can’t return the RAM either?
