Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well. As a new dad, my gaming time has shrunk a bit, but I'm still trying to make the most out of my setup. I use a HISENSE A6Q 55" 4K HDR Smart TV as my display now, since my office became my daughter's bedroom. My PC build is from 2021, and while I play Escape from Tarkov, I've been experiencing freezing and significant FPS drops, especially during intense gunfights. I'm wondering if I need to invest in a whole new build or if I can improve things with a RAM or GPU upgrade or something else. I have about £500-600 budgeted for improvements, and I'm located in the UK, which might impact part availability. Here's a quick look at my current setup for reference: [PCPartPicker List]. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your PSU might be holding you back. I'd suggest upgrading to at least a 650W unit. Your RTX 3070 is great, but running it at 4K on a 55" TV can be tough, especially in demanding games. If you can, consider switching to a 1440p monitor for better performance. Otherwise, maybe look into enabling DLSS to boost those frames—just a thought! Hope you get everything running smoothly!
Couch gaming is different; you don’t need as high frame rates compared to desk setups. Your CPU and motherboard seem fine, but the PSU could be the weak link. I’d suggest monitoring performance during your games to pinpoint if you’re really bottlenecked by the GPU or RAM. If you want a quick upgrade, look into something like a 9070XT. It's worth seeing what your performance metrics say first before jumping in!
I appreciate the advice! I’ll monitor during my next gaming session to figure out where the bottleneck is.

Thanks for the input! I’ll definitely check out a new PSU. I’ll also try out DLSS and see if that helps performance.
