I'm building my first PC with an Intel i5 14600K, and I'm a bit confused about which type of motherboard to go with. Should I pick a Z790 or B760 chipset? I'm leaning towards DDR4 as the price of DDR5 is quite high, and I'd rather spend that money on other components. I'm considering options like the MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WiFi DDR4, MSI PRO Z790 P WiFi, MSI PRO Z790 A WiFi, and MSI MAG B760 Tomahawk WiFi DDR4, but I'm also open to options from ASUS or others. I don't game much and I'm not into overclocking, but I want a reliable motherboard that offers some flexibility. My budget for the motherboard is up to $280. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I just upgraded to the Z790 Tomahawk DDR4, and it's been fantastic with my 14600K. It has all the features you need and is very reliable. If you go with MSI, I can assist you with the best settings too. Just make sure to update the BIOS before you install Windows for a smoother experience!

Thanks for the tip! Why did you pick the Z790 instead of the B760?
