With fewer people writing handwritten letters these days, I'm curious if there's a way to duplicate handwritten letters seamlessly. I'm not talking about using a font that looks like handwriting—I'm imagining a machine that can scan an actual handwritten letter and then recreate it with real pen strokes, making it look authentic. This could be super handy for things like holiday cards or even job applications. Has anyone come across technology that can do this?

If you're looking for something DIY, you could try using a pen plotter! I used to work with an old HP plotter back in the 90s, and it did a pretty decent job at recreating handwritten text.

That's cool! Did it actually look like real handwriting, or was it pretty obvious it was done by a machine?
