I just updated my very old iPad to version 17.7.10, but now it won't connect to the Internet. Safari keeps saying that the connection is not private on every website, and all my streaming services say I'm offline, even though the Wi-Fi shows it's connected and the router indicates we have Internet access. The Wi-Fi settings display a 'no Internet connection' message. Additionally, I keep getting a 'cannot verify server identity' message for Google Calendar, which might be related to this Internet issue.

Have you checked if your iPad's date and time are set correctly? Also, make sure it's getting an IP address from the router. If all the settings are automatic, that should usually work.
Yeah, the date and time are correct and I haven't changed anything since I got it. I believe the settings are still on automatic.
It sounds like there could be a problem with HTTPS or SSL settings, or your Wi-Fi might be using WPA instead of WPA2 or WPA3. Check your router settings to ensure it's configured correctly.
