Hey everyone! I was helping my mom with her iPhone 14 Pro Max, and I thought logging her out of iCloud and restarting the phone might fix a glitch with her Wallet app. However, now that I've tried to log back into her account, it signs her in for about 5 seconds before logging out again. I've done this three times and it doesn't block me or give any warning, so I don't think there's an issue with her password. I'm feeling really guilty because my mom isn't very tech-savvy and has a lot of important stuff saved in her iCloud. She specifically told me not to log out if it's too complicated, but I thought it would work. I plan to contact Apple support tomorrow, but I need a quick fix since she needs her phone for work. Has anyone else faced this issue, and how can I resolve it? Thanks!

Sometimes, signing out of iCloud services can lead to weird glitches like you're experiencing. If she's got any other Apple devices, like an iPad, synced to her account, they might help verify she’s logged in properly. Also, ensuring there's no delay between logging out and trying to log back in can help too.
It's usually better to sign out of-specific iCloud services instead of completely logging out. It minimizes complications. Check if her iPhone is updated to the latest software. That could be part of the issue too.
That makes sense! I suspect the iOS version could be a problem since her phone is on 26.1, while I think the latest is 26.2. Before logging out, I made sure not to delete anything from her phone.
Have you tried logging into her iCloud account online? If you can access it there without issues, it might help narrow down the problem to her phone.
Yes, I could log in online with no problems. I also noticed that 'Find My iPhone' isn't activated. Could that be causing the login issue?

I should have thought about that! She does have an iPad, but it's not on the same Apple account. I waited about 30 seconds after the restart before trying to log back in again.
