Do I need a stronger power supply for my PC build?

I just bought all my components from Microcenter, but I'm unsure about the power supply I should use since I didn't buy one yet. I currently have a 650W power supply in mind. Is that enough for my setup, or should I consider upgrading to a higher wattage?

Actually, for the best performance, I'd recommend getting a 750W or even an 850W power supply. They're not much more expensive, and it gives you flexibility for future upgrades. A bronze-rated 650W might stretch it too thin for your GPU's needs.

Based on your CPU and GPU's power requirements, it seems like 650W should cover it without issues. But if you're adding more components later, you might want a bit more headroom, like a 750W. Also, consider getting a PSU with enough PCIe connectors for your GPU.

650W is definitely enough for your current components! With your CPU's TDP at 65W and your GPU's at 330W, plus the rest of your system, you should be fine. Just make sure you don’t skimp on the quality of the PSU, as it’s crucial for stability!

It looks like your build list was set to private earlier but seems good now. If you're using a 2021 PSU, it might not be the best for longevity. It's not terrible, but if you can, I suggest checking out a PSU tier list. Higher-rated brands can help ensure your system runs smoothly for a longer time! I usually go for the top-tier options myself.

Good to know! I'll check the tier list before making my choice. Thanks!
