I’m New to Linux and Worried About My Installations—What Should I Do?

Hey everyone! I recently installed Linux Mint on Christmas and have been diving into it since then. I think I have everything I need, but today I tried customizing it a bit. I've mainly installed apps from the Linux app store, AnyDesk, and a slicer for my 3D printer directly from their websites. I also used the terminal to run some sudo apt-get commands for things like xdotool and a few others I can't recall. Now, I'm starting to feel anxious about whether I might have messed something up. Is there a way to check if everything's installed correctly and if it's safe? I keep considering reinstalling Linux Mint just to be sure—am I being overly cautious?

First off, if everything is functioning as expected, you're likely in good shape! No need to stress too much; we all learn as we go. Just keep in mind next time what works better.
