I recently upgraded the RAM in my PC and now it won't boot. I have an MSI H410M-A Pro motherboard and I'm trying to use G.Skill TridentZ Neo DDR4-4000 32GB RAM (2 sticks of 16GB each). The PC starts up fine with the old RAM, but it just doesn't boot at all with the new one. I checked compatibility through various sources like PC Part Picker and MSI, so I'm really puzzled about what might be wrong. Any suggestions?

I checked the compatibility list for your motherboard, and it seems that only certain G.Skill memory modules work with it. It officially supports 16GB sticks at 2400MHz, but you might also want to ensure that XMP or EXPO is disabled in the BIOS. That could be causing the boot issue as well.
First things first, have you tried resetting the BIOS or clearing the CMOS after installing the new RAM? This can often resolve boot issues after changes like that. To do this, unplug your PC, remove the motherboard battery for about a minute, and then put it back in. If you're having trouble finding the battery, check your manual for the CMOS pins – you can reset it using a metal object to short those pins.
