Why Did My WiFi Stop Working After CMOS Battery Replacement?

I recently had an issue where my PC was randomly shutting off, and it finally wouldn't turn on at all. After some troubleshooting, I decided to replace the CMOS battery since it had been about three years since I built the PC. Once I replaced the battery, the computer powered up again, but I had to adjust some fan settings to boot directly into Windows.

After a few hours of use, my WiFi started acting up. Initially, it shows full signal strength, but once I try to connect, it drops to one bar and then says 'connected, no internet'. My phone and other devices connect to the router just fine, so the problem seems to be with my PC.

Here's what I've tried so far:
- Verified that the WiFi adapter is enabled in BIOS.
- Disabled the WiFi adapter in Device Manager, restarted, then enabled it again and rebooted.
- Uninstalled the Intel WiFi driver, reinstalled it from my phone via USB, and rebooted with no success.
- Reset network settings and restarted the computer—still no luck.
- Ran a diagnosis that suggested I reset the network settings again and reset the modem/router.
- Used Command Prompt to run several commands: netsh winsock reset, netsh int ip reset, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew, and ipconfig /flushdns.

However, the commands I tried that released and renewed the IP stated, 'no operation can be performed on WiFi while it has its media disconnected,' along with similar messages for local area connections and Bluetooth. I'm not sure what that means.

Also, I can't reset the router since it's a business setup with guest WiFi, and I can't disrupt service during operating hours. I want to sort this out before heading back to school in January. Any help would be much appreciated! My motherboard has built-in WiFi 6 AX201 160MHz, and I'm running Windows 11.

Have you tried connecting your PC to your phone's hotspot? That could help determine if the issue is with your WiFi setup or the PC's adapter itself.

Unfortunately, I don't have a hotspot on my phone.
