In my area, it seems like nobody is hiring for the MERN stack. All the big companies around here are looking for Java or Spring developers, and I've also noticed Go is becoming popular.
It might help to count how many job openings you see for each stack in your local job market. That will give you a clearer picture of what's in demand.
