What’s the Best Way to Transfer 100GB of Photos and Videos from Android to Windows Quickly?

I'm looking for an efficient way to transfer a large amount of data—around 100GB of photos and videos—from my Android phone to a Windows PC. I tried using a cable, but it's estimating over 7 hours to complete the transfer, which feels excessive. I also attempted using KDE Connect, but it tends to fail after about 50 files. Any suggestions for a smarter method?

I recently bought a double-ended memory stick, and it worked like a charm! I connected it to my phone to transfer the files, then plugged it into my PC. It's quick and easy once you have it set up.

Here's another option: buy a double-ended card reader that supports both USB-C and USB-A. Plug it into your phone, format the card if you need to, move your data there, then plug it into your computer for faster transfer.

Make sure you're using File Transfer (MTP mode) on your phone, and try closing unnecessary apps while you copy. Moving data in smaller batches often speeds things up.

I had similar issues with my old laptop. When I switched to my friend's modern PC with 32GB of RAM, I managed to transfer 230GB in just 90 minutes! The trick is to transfer one folder at a time. Large batches take forever. For big folders like Camera Roll, I separated the files by type and copied them in smaller chunks of 3-5GB at a time.

Have you tried switching to a USB4 or high-speed data cable? Some cables can transfer data much faster. Look for ones labeled with 'SS' for SuperSpeed.
