Considering Upgrading My GPU and RAM—Need Some Advice

I'm thinking about upgrading my PC and came across a pre-owned RTX 4060 graphics card that caught my eye. My current setup has a GTX 1660 Ti, and I know I need to increase my RAM too since I only have 16 GB at the moment. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to just add a single 16 GB stick to reach 24 GB total or if I should go for something else. Also, is there a significant difference in performance between cheaper and more expensive 16 GB RAM sticks?

Before you pull the trigger on that 4060, what GPU do you currently have? The 4060 is a bit pricey at $300. You might want to consider getting a 9060 XT 16GB instead; it’s usually only $50-$100 more and offers much better performance.

I have a GTX 1660 Ti. I'm just curious if the 9060 XT has frame generation or if it makes up for it another way?
