I'm running my games on a 165Hz monitor and have installed all the necessary drivers, but even though I'm seeing high FPS, my gameplay feels choppy and not smooth. I'm really not sure what might be causing this issue.

First up, what CPU and GPU are you using? If your CPU isn't keeping pace, you could be experiencing a bottleneck. It's also worth checking for thermal throttling issues or high background CPU usage that might be impacting performance. Check for updates in your AMD Adrenaline software, and consider updating your motherboard BIOS if needed. I had a lot of my issues resolved after updating everything. You can find plenty of tutorials on how to do that on YouTube!
I just updated Adrenaline, and my motherboard is on version ASUS 1022.
It sounds like your PC might not be able to handle the settings you're trying to run. But if you're seeing high FPS, that seems counterintuitive. Maybe try lowering some graphics settings to see if that helps your smoothness.
Make sure Vsync is enabled. If that doesn't help, try capping your FPS to your 1% lows or reduce your monitor's refresh rate. High average FPS doesn't guarantee smoothness, especially during intense moments that might cause frame drops. I personally cap my games at 1% lows to maintain a smooth experience.

I have a Ryzen 5 9600x and an RX 9060xt. Temperature seems fine, and I don't think it's a bottleneck since my GPU usage is between 80-100% while CPU usage is only 40-70%.
