How can I stop Intel from collecting my data without a factory reset?

I accidentally agreed to let Intel collect my data when I installed their Driver Assistant from their website. I uninstalled the program afterward, but I'm not sure if the data collection part is still active. Is there a way to turn it off without having to factory reset my PC?

Honestly, they likely have whatever they collected already. If you've uninstalled the program, you might not need to worry much anymore. You're fine!

It seems like Intel might have already collected some basic info about your PC hardware and settings, but if you've uninstalled the app, the actual data collection should have stopped. You're probably in the clear now!

Disconnecting your PC from the internet and checking your firewall settings can also help ensure that no data is being sent out, just to be safe!

Good idea! A little extra security never hurts.

If you uninstalled the app, that usually takes care of the data collection. Just keep an eye on other software you have—there are many other services that collect data too!

True! It's not just Intel you have to worry about. Best bet is to read privacy policies and manage what you install.
