Should I Sell My PC with RAM or Keep It for My Next Build?

I built my PC about 9-12 months ago and got a 32GB RAM kit for around $80, but now prices have skyrocketed to $440. Since I'm heading to college soon, I'm thinking about selling this setup in favor of a more portable ITX system. Should I sell the whole system with the RAM included, or is it better to keep the RAM for my next build?

Would it make sense to sell your current case, motherboard, and CPU cooler? You could keep the rest and grab an ITX motherboard and a Terra case for a mini PC build. Just a thought!

You could sell whatever doesn’t fit in your new ITX setup. But honestly, why not just keep the current system for college? Moving it can be a hassle, especially with a larger case like the Lian Li Dan A3. ITX cases are more convenient, like the Fractal Design ones you mentioned!

I hear you! The Dan A3 takes up quite a bit of space. Switching to an ITX motherboard and a more compact case sounds like a solid plan.

Selling parts individually often gets you a better deal. Just a heads-up; going with ITX can get pricey because of size limits. If you can manage it, a micro ATX case could save you some money and effort!

It's tough to predict, but I'd say sell the system with the RAM. By the time you get around to building a new one, prices might have leveled out again. If you're running them in your next build, though, not sure why you'd sell them now!
