Help Me Choose the Right CPU and GPU for My PC Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my PC and could use some advice. Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 5500 processor, 16GB of 3200MHz RAM, and an RX 560 GPU. I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU to an R7 5700X, but I also considered the 5700X3D or 5800X3D. Unfortunately, I can't find any used ones available. Regarding the GPU, I want something with at least 12GB of VRAM, but I'm not sure which one to choose. Also, my budget is a bit tight since this upgrade would be a gift! Any suggestions?

I recommend upgrading your GPU first. If your budget allows for around $350, you might find a 9060 XT with 16GB of VRAM in the USA.

I'm looking between $200 and $300. GPUs are a bit pricey here in Chile, but I'm open to buying internationally!

The R7 5700X is a fantastic choice from the 5500. For GPUs, both the 9060 XT with 16GB and the 5060 Ti with 16GB are really good picks. You might also find a used 4070 if you're lucky with pricing.

Thanks a ton for your help! I’ll definitely look into those options!

The R7 5700X is definitely a solid upgrade. For GPUs, consider a used 2080 Ti—they're still quite powerful. Another option for something new might be the ARC B580 if you want the latest tech.
