I recently installed my RX 9070 graphics card in my current setup, which includes a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and 16GB of RAM. I didn't want to wait for my new DDR5 RAM and AM5 motherboard to arrive, so I plugged in the RX 9070 with my new 750W power supply. Everything seemed fine at first after I updated the drivers using the DDU method. However, when I tried to launch games like Monster Hunter Wilds and Overwatch, my PC either crashed, failed to connect to the servers, or used up all my system memory. I'm looking for some advice on what to do next. Should I reinstall my old GPU and wait for the new parts to come in?

Have you tried toggling the server connection options in Overwatch? Sometimes that helps get past any initial connectivity issues.
Did you use the same cables from your old power supply? Sometimes that can cause issues if you mix them up.
Nope, I used the cables that came with the 750W power supply.
Does this issue pop up with other games too, or is it just with Monster Hunter? Also, make sure you’re using the latest chipset drivers for both your motherboard and GPU. Those updates can make a big difference.
I've updated both my motherboard and GPU drivers, but it still hogs like 70% of memory just running Chrome.
You might want to consider reinstalling Windows and updating the BIOS. It's a bit of a hassle, but it could help stabilize your system now, and you'll just need to redo it when you get your new motherboard.
If it keeps frustrating me, I might have to do that. Thanks for the tip—I'll keep it as a last resort!

Yeah, but I can barely get into the game at all; it takes ages, and when I do, it's super glitchy when I try to navigate the settings.
