I recently upgraded to an Honor X5C Plus running Android 15, and I'm connecting it to my Dell desktop with Windows 11 via the Phone Link app and a USB cable. Despite having all my photos neatly organized into folders on my phone, when I open File Explorer on my PC, they're all jumbled together without the folder structure. I used to have a Huawei on Android 12, and this wasn't an issue before. Any tips for getting Windows 11 to display the folders like they do on my phone would be really appreciated!

If you're already using folders on your mobile and they're not showing up correctly, I'd suggest looking into apps that can better manage your photo libraries on your PC. It might help to bridge that gap between your phone and Windows. Plus, trying a different file management app could provide a smoother experience!
It sounds like the issue is due to how Android organizes photos. Sometimes, the photos on your device are just grouped by certain criteria like date, rather than actual folders. To get around this, you might want to try some alternative software for viewing photos, or you could manually organize them. A manual organization could be handy since you can filter by date in File Explorer to help rearrange your photos into folders just like you have on your phone.
