I'm looking for a graphics card that can handle 1080p gaming at 144Hz without needing ray tracing at high settings. I know I could go all out and get a 5090, but I want to know what the lowest price option is that still performs well. Can anyone suggest some solid choices?

Even an RTX 5050 would get the job done for what you're asking. If you're on a tight budget, a used 1660 Super could be an awesome find at around $100.
If your CPU can keep up, both the 3080 and the 6800 XT are great for your needs. Also, the 7800 XT and 7900 GRE are even better performers if you can find them. The 9060 XT is good but might lag a bit on raster performance, although it does support FSR4.
Choosing the right GPU can be tricky! It really depends on what games you're playing and your overall system specs. For high FPS games, your CPU will play a big role too. But, if you're looking for options, a 9060XT with 16GB is a solid choice. It allows some future-proofing for a 1440p upgrade later on.
