I recently built a new PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 and an AMD 9060 XT with 16GB RAM. When I tried playing 'High on Life,' I'm only getting an average of 5.7 FPS, which makes the game unplayable. On the other hand, Minecraft is showing an average of 59.9 FPS. I expected way better performance. I've checked that all my drivers are up to date. One thing to note is I'm currently using an old monitor I haven't replaced yet. I'm curious if that could be impacting the performance, but I'm not entirely sure what else I might be missing.

It might help to share a picture of your back I/O. Your low FPS suggests that the monitor cable might be connected to the onboard graphics instead of the GPU.
Are you using Vsync or any frame limit settings? It's a good idea to turn on an FPS overlay like the one in AMD Adrenaline to see what's going on while you play.
Did you remember to install the chipset driver? That can sometimes make a big difference in performance.
First things first, make sure your monitor is connected directly to the GPU and not using the onboard graphics. That could really drop your FPS.
I checked, and I'm definitely plugged into the GPU. The monitor is just a pretty bad one from 2014 at 60Hz, so I'll upgrade soon.
That sounds odd since the Ryzen 5600 doesn't have integrated graphics. Are you sure you have the right card? Did you upgrade from an old GPU or is this build completely new?
It's a brand new build, and I don't have onboard graphics. It's plugged directly into the graphics card.

I just turned on Vsync, and now I'm getting an average of about 250 FPS with high graphics settings. It's improved, but I think I still need to tweak a few settings, plus this monitor can't be helping.
