I'm thinking about upgrading from my current 4060 to a 9060 XT, but I've read that Adobe programs don't perform as well with AMD cards, and I do a lot of editing work. I'm on a tight budget, so the 5060 Ti is a bit pricey for me right now. I really don't want to miss out like I did with RAM prices last year. Any advice? Should I wait or go for it?

Nvidia definitely still has the advantage for productivity tasks, especially with programs like Premiere Pro and After Effects. If those are your main tools, the 5060 Ti is probably worth the investment. On the other hand, for Photoshop or Lightroom, you might be fine sticking with what you have since those tend to be more CPU-dependent.
Thanks for all the responses, everyone! I’ve decided to hold off on the upgrade for now because I just learned that GPU prices might go up again. I’m still a bit traumatized from missing out on RAM prices last year!
With your requirements, I would lean towards either the 5060 Ti or even the 5070 if you can find a good deal. Checking out the used market might be a good idea too; many of them come with guarantees, and they are still fairly new.
Honestly, if you're tight on cash, I’d advise against upgrading right now. It doesn’t make much sense to go from one decent card to another slightly better one when you could save for a bigger jump later.
If you're not satisfied with the performance of the 4060 in games, you might want to consider jumping to the 5060 Ti with 16GB. It could give you a noticeable boost in both gaming and editing tasks.
