Hey everyone! I'm new to PC building and could really use some pointers. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600G and a GTX 1050 Ti. I'm hoping to improve my gaming experience without facing frame drops or freezing. Can anyone suggest a good GPU upgrade that won't break the bank?

If you're looking for something affordable, I'd suggest checking out the RTX 3060. It offers solid performance at a decent price and should help with those frame drops.

Try lowering your game settings to see if that helps performance. Sometimes it's not just about the GPU; the CPU can bottleneck you too, so it’s important to find a balance depending on your gameplay setup.

Consider going for a second-hand RTX 3070 if you can find one at a good price. It should give you a nice boost in performance for gaming.

Make sure to check what motherboard you have. If it's B450, your CPU won't support PCIe 4, but it should still work fine with most GPUs. Also, look at whether you're using an SSD or HDD; an SSD will help reduce stuttering during gameplay.
