I recently purchased a laptop, but the tracking information shows that it has been stuck in a warehouse for a week. I'm worried about the potential effects of cold weather on the laptop since I'm not sure how cold it is inside the warehouse. Should I be concerned?

When your laptop arrives, let it sit at room temperature for a couple of hours before you open the box. We’ve had cases where condensation can occur, causing moisture inside the laptop, although it’s not super common. Just to be safe, give it a chance to warm up first.
No need to worry, it should be fine. Just keep an eye on it when it gets to you!
I wouldn't stress about it too much. The warehouse temperature is usually a bit warmer than outside, and your laptop should be fine. I left mine in the freezing car once and the trackpad didn't work for a bit until it warmed up, but once it was at room temp, everything was fine.

Totally agree, this is a good practice for any electronic device. It can be hard to wait, but if you don’t, you might face some serious issues later.
