I accidentally messed up my Windows installation while trying to set up a dual boot with Nobara. I have almost 1 TB of space on my main hard drive that can't be shrunk, and 2 TB on a secondary drive that can. I can't open my case to change any hardware. Now, I need to reset or reinstall Windows. What are my options?

If I were in your shoes, I'd try booting from a Linux USB stick. You can save all your important files to that backup drive before proceeding to repair or reinstall Windows. Once that's done, you can figure out how to install Linux alongside it!
It sounds like your best move is to go ahead with the reset or reinstall of Windows. Just make sure to back up your important files first if you can. Good luck!
Not sure what your exact issue is. If your Windows partition is intact, you may still be able to recover some files, especially if you can decrypt it. If your partition table is corrupted, recovery may require some software tools, and those can be hit or miss.

That's a solid plan! Just be careful with the USB; if it's encrypted, you might need your old Windows password to access files.
