I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my PC's internet speed. While my brother's computer and my mobile phone are pulling in speeds of 70 and 60 Mbps respectively, my main PC is stuck at just 9 Mbps. I'm connected via a LAN cable, and I even swapped cables with my brother to see if that was the problem, but the speeds didn't change. I wondered if the issue was related to the GoodByeDPI software (which my brother also uses), so I uninstalled it and rebooted, but I still have the same issue. This problem has started recently because I used to get around 70 Mbps myself. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

First things first, have you tried reinstalling the LAN drivers from your motherboard's manufacturer website? Sometimes outdated drivers can cause issues. Also, you might want to boot from WinPE with the necessary drivers to see if it's a software hiccup. If those don’t work, consider getting a PCIe Ethernet network card; it could solve the speed problem!

I installed the LAN driver but unfortunately that didn't fix the speed issue. Is getting a new PCIe Ethernet card really my only option?
