I accidentally closed my laptop while it was factory resetting and now I'm stuck with a warning message that says the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an error. I can't get Windows to install. I created a bootable Windows 11 installation USB stick using another PC, but when I plug it into my laptop, nothing happens—just the same error message on every reboot. I also can't figure out how to access the BIOS. Does anyone have any suggestions besides taking it to a professional?

Double-check that the installation USB was made correctly. If it's not bootable, the laptop won’t see it. Additionally, it might help to get into the boot menu instead of the BIOS for a straightforward way to select the USB.
Make sure your USB stick is actually bootable. If it wasn't created properly, the BIOS won't recognize it. Use the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft to create the installation USB. Once that's all set, remember to access either the BIOS or the boot menu to choose the USB stick for installation.
To enter the BIOS, it varies by manufacturer, but common keys during startup include Esc, Del, F1, F11, or F12. If you look up your laptop model online, you should find the specific key you need to press. Once you're in the BIOS, you can set the USB as the boot device and try installing Windows again.
