What should I do if I’ve forgotten my iPhone passcode and Apple ID password?

I've completely forgotten my iPhone passcode and my Apple ID password. I recently changed my passcode after my sister discovered it, so now I'm stuck. It's ironic because my Apple ID is noted in my phone, but I don't remember it right now. I can prove that it's my phone since my ID is saved in my Apple Wallet. However, I really need my phone for work, and Apple mentioned it could take days to resolve this, which isn't feasible for me. Has anyone experienced this before? What steps can I take to get my phone fixed as soon as possible?

Make sure you have proof of purchase ready when you go to Apple. They’ll need it to help you gain access again. Good thing you mentioned you have that!

It sounds like you're in a tough spot! Unfortunately, if you haven't set up recovery options or written down your passwords, it’s going to be tricky. Apple doesn't allow same-day fixes for security reasons. Maybe your employer could understand your situation; after all, we can all forget things sometimes. But I'd suggest starting the recovery process ASAP!

Thanks for the reassurance! I hope they can work with me on this.

There really isn't a way to fix this same-day. Once you lock yourself out, Apple’s account recovery process can take several days, and no one can bypass that. Just hang tight and keep in touch with Apple. They'll help you eventually!

That’s what I’m leaning towards now. Just need to stay patient.
