Why won’t my USB Wi-Fi adapter work until I unplug and replug it after a reboot?

I'm having trouble with my TP-Link TXE70UH USB Wi-Fi adapter. It works just fine on my laptop, but when I connect it to my desktop running Windows 11 (25H2), it doesn't seem to power on after a reboot. Even though I can install the drivers without any issue and the adapter works as expected once it's plugged in, it doesn't show up in Device Manager after restarting the PC. The only solution I've found is to unplug the adapter and plug it back in to get it recognized. I've already tried uninstalling the device, installing the latest drivers, and disabling the power-saving option in Device Manager, but nothing seems to fix the problem. Has anyone else faced this issue or can suggest a solution?

I was having a similar issue, and I found that adjusting some settings in the BIOS related to USB configuration helped. It might be worth checking those settings. Just make sure to back up your data before making changes as it can sometimes cause issues.

This may also be a compatibility issue with Windows 11. Ensure that your system is updated to the latest version. Also, check for any firmware updates for the adapter directly from the TP-Link website.

Have you tried switching the USB port? Sometimes certain ports can have issues, especially if they don't provide enough power. Also, make sure you're using USB 3.0 if your adapter supports it, as that might make a difference.
