I'm having an issue where my M.2 drive appears to be in flash mode, but I can't see it in BIOS or Windows. I've been updating the BIOS, and while in flash mode, I could see that the drive seems to be up and running, although it's not fully responsive, almost like it's in a coma. I might need to rewrite the header using Linux or possibly claim the warranty. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this?

It sounds like the M.2 drive isn't detected properly. First, make sure you have the SATA mode set to AHCI and that the M.2 slot is enabled. If you haven’t done that already, check your motherboard settings. Also, since you're using an MSI X570 motherboard, there may be specific settings related to M.2 that need to be tweaked, so look for those options in the BIOS.
Just a thought, you might want to check the BIOS version as well and ensure it's updated. Sometimes, using a different M.2 slot can help. Additionally, make sure your RAM is running with the XMP profile enabled, which you mentioned you've done. BIOS load times can sometimes be a pain if there are misconfigured settings, so double-check those too!
