Hey everyone! I just finished building my new PC and I'm really excited about it. However, I want to sync the colors of my rear fan (CoolerMaster Mobius 120P) with the color scheme of my front three fans that came pre-installed in my Cooler Master Mesh TD500 V2 case. The hub powering the front fans isn't connected to my MSI motherboard (MSI B550m Pro VDH WI-FI); it's plugged into a power connector instead. My rear fan is hooked up to the motherboard's ARGB socket (JRainbow2). I'm considering using an ARGB extension cable from AliExpress to connect the rear fan to the case's hub in hopes of syncing the RGB colors. I really like the colors on the front and want to replicate them. Happy New Year to all!

Using an ARGB extension cable seems like a good option! Just keep in mind, since the fans aren’t identical, the colors might not match perfectly. However, since they’re from the same brand, there’s a better chance they’ll look similar. Ideally, you'd connect everything to the motherboard for better control with software, but I understand if you want to keep it simple.
I’d recommend checking the positioning of your rear fan—looks like it’s facing the wrong way. It should be set to exhaust air out the back instead of pulling air in.
Wait, is that really the case? I didn't even notice!

I definitely prefer to avoid messing with the motherboard if possible. So, just connecting the rear fan to the case hub with the button is an option, right? I might reach out to Cooler Master for their input too!
