I'm upgrading to a new PC that runs Windows 11, while my old one has two M.2 drives, one for the OS and a 2TB drive filled with some of my Steam games and personal photos. I want to move the 2TB M.2 drive to the new PC. Is there anything specific I need to be aware of when doing this, or can I just take the drive out of the old system and plug it into the new one? Thanks!

You can definitely transfer the drive. Just keep in mind, if you had BitLocker enabled, you'll need the recovery key to access the drive on your new PC.
It's pretty straightforward! Just remember to point Steam to where your game library is on the new drive after moving it. And don’t forget to install the heatsink if you had one on your old PC.
Absolutely, just plug and play! If any games mess up after the transfer, you might have to reinstall them. I had similar issues with a few games transferring my library before.
