I'm considering an upgrade to an AMD 5800X3D, but I currently have a setup with a 5060 Ti, 16GB of RAM, a Ryzen 5700X processor, an A520M Plus WiFi motherboard, and a 600W 80+ Bronze power supply. My primary use is gaming, especially iRacing. I'm particularly concerned about potential heat issues and whether my power supply can handle the upgrade. Would the 5700X3D be a better choice for my build?

Both the 5700X3D and 5800X3D are supported by your motherboard, so they should fit. The choice depends heavily on pricing and whether your gaming is CPU-limited right now. If not, you likely won't see a big upgrade, and considering their discontinued status, they can be pricey. Also, remember that your motherboard only supports PCIe 3.0, which might limit GPU performance slightly depending on your setup.
You'll probably be fine with your 600W PSU, as it won't hit that limit even with an upgraded CPU. If you're leaning towards the 5800X3D, just keep in mind that it tends to run hotter. If you're worried about cooling, undervolting your CPU a bit might help keep temps down without losing much performance.
The 5700X3D usually offers a better price-to-performance ratio, with just a slight drop in performance compared to the 5800X3D. The 5800X3D is kind of overpriced for what you get, so unless you find a good deal, the 5700X3D might be your best bet.
I saw a used 5800X3D for about $400 in Canada. Do you think that's worth it considering my concerns about PSU and cooling?
No need to worry about your air cooler unless it's the tiniest one. For the 5700X or 5800X, your current setup should handle the temperatures just fine, assuming you're not pushing the limits with a super high-performance cooler.

That's good to hear! I just hope my power supply can keep up since I've read the 5800X3D runs hotter.
