Hey everyone! I just bought two 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSDs without heatsinks for two separate PC builds. However, I was informed by the seller that they're out of stock and offered me the Kingston FURY Renegade M.2 NVME SSD with heatsink instead. Now I'm curious about the compatibility of this SSD with the following motherboards:
1. Gigabyte H810M-H
2. Asus TUF Gaming B860-Plus WiFi
Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Both SSD options will be compatible as they connect through the same M.2 slots. Just make sure you have enough room for the heatsink on the Kingston Fury if you choose that one!
You'll have no issues using either SSD with those motherboards, but keep in mind that the H810M-H only has one M.2 port. It might be a bit strange putting a high-end SSD like the 990 Pro or Fury Renegade in a budget board since you might not fully utilize its capabilities.

Are there any specific brands you think I should avoid when looking for cheaper SSDs?
