Seeking Tips for Learning App and Web Development as a Business Student

Hey everyone! I'm a business and economics student keen on diving into app and web development as a side project. My goal isn't to become a software engineer but to gain enough knowledge to bring my own ideas to life without relying too much on others. I have no prior experience in coding or computer science, so I know this journey won't be a walk in the park. Since I'm juggling this alongside my studies, I want to approach it in a sustainable way. I would love your advice on a few things: 1) Are there any YouTubers or series specifically for beginners that you'd recommend, especially focused on web apps? 2) I'm thinking about using AI to assist in my learning and building. Which AI tools have you found effective for coding help? Claude seems priced well, but I'm open to suggestions. 3) Given my full schedule, how much time should I realistically commit weekly to get the hang of the basics and start building functional apps? 4) Any general advice for someone with a business background just starting out in development? Anything you wish you knew sooner? I'm not looking for quick fixes, just genuine advice to help me navigate this without feeling overwhelmed. Thanks a lot for your insights!

I recommend checking out the book 'Head First Programming' for the absolute basics. Also, the CS50 YouTube series is fantastic for beginners and covers a lot of ground. You might find it really helpful!
