Is it worth using dual GPUs for video editing and gaming in 2025?

I'm currently using an RTX 5070 for both video editing and gaming, and I also have an older GTX 1060 OC just sitting around. I was curious if it's feasible to set up the 1060 as a secondary GPU while I wait for my broken RTX 3070 to be repaired. My main goal is to see if this could speed up my export times during video editing. Would using the 1060 in addition to my 5070 actually be beneficial, or would it just be a waste?

Honestly, the RTX 5070 is powerful enough for your needs without a second GPU. Adding the 1060 might actually slow down your primary GPU in gaming due to shared bandwidth on your motherboard.
