Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a bind here. My PC has been running smoothly for about a year with no issues, but suddenly it won't boot. The power button lights up all the fans and RAM, and even the PSU fan is spinning, but I'm getting a persistent red CPU light that just won't go away. I tried powering it off normally the night before without any warning or errors, but now it won't even enter the BIOS or show any boot screen. I've cleared the CMOS both with the button on the back of the motherboard and by replacing the battery, but nothing seems to work. I've reseated the CPU several times and also checked the RAM and all the cables. I'm totally stumped! Here are my specs: CPU: i7-13700kf, Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z790-A WiFi II, PSU: Corsair RM1200x, RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz 32GB, GPU: 4060 Ti.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation! It could very well be a motherboard issue. Do you have any spare components you could swap in to test, or are you leaning towards potentially replacing the motherboard?
Oh man, that sounds frustrating! Definitely check the CPU and motherboard pins for any signs of burning or damage. Sometimes, a little inspection can reveal issues that aren't immediately visible.
Have you double-checked that the CPU power cable is securely connected? Sometimes it might seem like it’s plugged in, but isn’t fully seated.
