I recently upgraded my PC by adding two 8GB RAM sticks, filling all four RAM slots. However, now my computer won't display anything when I try to power it on. I noticed that there are four lights above the RAM slots that weren't on before I made the change. I've removed and reinstalled the new sticks, and also tested it with just the original two, but still no luck. One thing I should mention is that I had to readjust the CPU fan because it had a piece blocking the RAM installation. I'm not sure if that could be causing the issue or not.

To clear the CMOS, here’s what you do: First, power off the PC and switch off the PSU, then unplug the power cable. Hold the power button down for about 10 seconds. After that, remove the CMOS battery, and jump the Clear CMOS pins. Wait about 10 minutes, put the battery back in, reconnect the power, switch on the PSU, and then power the PC back on.
It might help to leave your PC off for about 10 minutes; sometimes it just needs a little time to calibrate after a hardware change. Clearing the CMOS can also help, especially if it's related to the RAM training process.
How do you clear the CMOS? I'm pretty new to this.
Definitely try clearing the CMOS, it’s a good step when dealing with RAM issues.

Thanks! I’ll try this as soon as I’m home!
