I've been using a 3080 FE for about four years and I'm looking to upgrade my GPU soon, ideally before prices rise again. I'm considering the Reaper 9070XT for CAD 960 or the Gigabyte 5070Ti SFF for CAD 1060. I mainly play FPS shooters at 1440p. Which one would you recommend?

For just a $100 CAD difference, I’d definitely go for the 5070Ti. It offers great features like DLSS 4 which can really enhance your gaming experience!
If FPS gaming is your main focus, the 9070XT might seem appealing, but considering the extra $100, the 5070Ti gives you better overall value, especially for video editing and future-proofing.
Thanks for the info! The 5070Ti does seem like the better option for me since I also edit 4K videos occasionally.
Honestly, the 5070Ti is the better card for its pricing. It might not dominate in raw gaming performance compared to the 9070XT, but it excels in ray tracing and productivity tasks, especially if you're planning on editing.
That’s exactly what I’m after! I think I'm leaning more towards the 5070Ti.
For the best long-term investment, the 5070Ti is definitely a solid choice. I've been really satisfied since I upgraded to it, and I came from a 3090!
Considering the features and better efficiency, the 5070Ti is the way to go. It’s easily the best option especially if you’re also into video editing.

Plus, there’s an upcoming DLSS transformer update, so choosing the 5070Ti seems like a smart move!
