I'm tired of seeing only local search results on Google, as they're tied to my IP address. I want to be able to search for things in different regions around the world without the results being limited to my local area. How can I change this setting? Any help would be appreciated!

Have you thought about using a VPN? It can help you search from different locations!
I hear you! I was trying to find laundromats and parking spots while on holiday, but Google Maps kept reverting to my location. To search in a specific place, just type in the city and your search term directly in Google Maps. It sometimes auto-navigates, but this way, you can specify what you want!
I totally get your frustration! Even using a VPN doesn’t fix the issue, since Google's still going to localize results somehow. It’s pretty annoying. Best of luck figuring it out!
If you open an incognito tab and head to 'google.com/advanced_search', you can enter your keywords and choose a specific region to narrow down the results. Just make sure to pick a region from the dropdown, then hit advanced search!
Check out the advanced search page at 'google.com/advanced_search'. It has a lot of useful features for refining your searches. Learning a bit about Boolean operators might also help you get more specific results!

Yep, you can also search using street or restaurant names directly. It’s pretty handy!
