I've been running WAN 2.2 and recently started experiencing black screens while gaming, especially in modern 3D titles. I've already tested my RAM, reinstalled drivers, and ordered a new PSU. From what I've gathered, it seems my VRAM could be the issue, and I want to explore options if the new PSU doesn't solve it.
I typically play at 1440p 60Hz and occasionally hook up my PC to a 4K TV. I wasn't initially planning on replacing my 3070 since it fits my needs. But now I'm wondering: if I switch to a B580, will I notice a significant downgrade? Or should I consider the 9060XT instead? My wife has it and it's been reliable for her. I'm also contemplating the 9070 since I suspect modern games on the TV wouldn't perform very well with lesser hardware.

The 9060XT is basically a sidegrade from the 3070. If you're looking for something that actually improves performance, the 9070 or 9070XT would be the way to go. The B580 is definitely a step down. I'm actually returning the Arc B580 since it just doesn't offer the upgrade I wanted compared to the RX6600 XT – only about a 10% performance increase, which isn't enough for what I'm aiming for. I'm switching to the 9060XT 16GB for a more solid upgrade overall.
Trust me, you will definitely feel the difference if you downgrade to the B580. Your best bet is to grab a 9070 or 9070XT for a much better gaming experience.
That makes sense. I was unsure if the new card would be worse, especially compared to the 3070.
Just go for the 9070! It's a solid choice and priced under $600 at many places, especially if you live near a Microcenter.
I do live near one, but I haven't seen any 9070XT for under $600 there.

I thought the 9060XT would be a bit better than just a sidegrade, but that kinda changes my perspective.
